2006-07 All Star Game
The 2006-07 NHL All Star Game will be held in Dallas and will be played on a weekend like it should be, sorry check that, it will played on a Tuesday & Wednesday, January 23 & 24, 2007. You have to be kidding !
So much for enjoying All Star weekend. Gary Betman says the decision was made to play the game in the middle of the week to increase the exposure for the game and the city of Dallas during TV prime time.
On a more positive note, the Oilers should have a few guys in the game this year, so if this holds true, then who cares when it is being played.
